{life is good}

Barb at My Sketch World has a fun card challenge this month! She challenges us to use sheet music and a heart on our card for her "Put a Song in Your Heart" challenge.  Cute, right?  I found a simple sketch from The Craft's Meow while perusing Amy's blog.  They are having a challenge this month using the sketch and their stamps.  I don't own any of their stamps, but for those of you who do, there is a random prize draw!  

Here is the sketch:

 I finally got the nerve up to spatter some paint on my card and am happy to say I like how it turned out. I also painted the music sheet with some watered down paint.

I will be linking this up to The Paper Variety blog too.  It matches the colors in the Photo Inspiration challenge they have going this week!   (for some strange reason, I cant save the photo from TPV)
So, how many of you are Harry Potter fans?  Brady, my middle son, and I are big fans!  We are going to the midnight show of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 tonight!  We have spent the last week watching the first 7 movies to get ready for this, the final one.

    Have fun Jan - we haven't started watching the HP movies yet but I'm sure it's coming. Wow, didn't realize there were 7 of them!

    Your card is beautiful - I love the paint splatters & mix of materials. Digging that that rounded corner action, too!
