This is my off week at The Paper Variety, but the challenge is to use flowers on your project and how could I resist that? :) For about $2.50 I made this sweet floral headband with these paper flowers from Michaels.
I used a 50% coupon and got them for $2 and put them on a ribbon wrapped headband I bought at the dollar store, 3 for $1. I trimmed off the greenery from the backside of the flowers for a cleaner look and glued them on with Fabric-Tac. I love how quickly Fabri-Tac works, but I find it messy to work with.
You have until noon EST this Tuesday to link your project to The Paper Variety! Patti, our fellow DT member, is our sponsor this week and is offering up an awesome kit from Citrus Tree Studios!
Hope to see your project in the gallery!

ReplyDeleteJan, would these headbands not be the sweetest thing for little flower girls in a wedding? Or a girl making her First Communion. You should make them and get an Etsy shop going for yourself!! Cha-ching, baby. LOL! Love this super sweet & creative headband!!! :)
